Skin health doesn't stop at the treatment room.
Healthy skin is built through consistency. Professional treatments can support and accelerate results, but the products used every day have the greatest influence on how skin functions over time.
A personalised approach to home care.
01 | UNDERSTAND
Every homecare journey begins with a thorough consultation. Your skin is considered as a whole, taking into account your concerns, lifestyle, environment, skincare history, stress, nutrition, habits and previous treatments.
02 | INTRODUCE
There is no universal skincare routine. Products are introduced gradually, allowing time to understand how your skin responds and ensuring the barrier is supported rather than overwhelmed.
03 | EVOLVE
Your routine evolves alongside your skin. As it becomes healthier, more balanced and resilient, your homecare can adapt to meet its changing needs.
Skin health from the barrier out.
At The Pure Facialist, every homecare plan is created using the principles of corneotherapy: a science-led approach that focuses on restoring and maintaining the skin’s natural barrier. Rather than simply treating what is visible on the surface, corneotherapy looks deeper at how the skin is functioning, supporting it to repair, regulate and protect itself as it was designed to.
A corneotherapist is a skincare professional who understands the structure and function of the skin, particularly the stratum corneum—the outermost layer of the skin, often referred to as the skin barrier.
I often describe the skin barrier as being like the roof of a house. A healthy, well-maintained roof protects everything underneath from the elements. When tiles become damaged or gaps appear, water can begin to seep through, creating problems beneath the surface.
Your skin barrier works in a very similar way. When it is healthy and intact, it helps to retain moisture, regulate inflammation and protect against environmental stressors, irritants, allergens and microorganisms. When the barrier becomes compromised, the skin can become more vulnerable, leading to concerns such as dehydration, sensitivity, redness, breakouts and premature ageing.
As a corneotherapist, my role is much like that of a skilled roofer. Rather than simply covering up the signs of damage, we focus on identifying where the barrier has become compromised and supporting the skin with the right ingredients to restore its function. Healthy skin isn't created by covering up the leaks—it’s created by repairing and maintaining the roof.
Every homecare journey begins with a thorough consultation. We take the time to understand your skin as a whole, exploring your current concerns alongside the factors that influence how your skin behaves, including your lifestyle, environment, skincare history, family history, stress levels, nutrition, daily habits and any previous treatments or products you have used.
Because every person’s skin is individual, there is no universal skincare routine. Your skin has its own history, needs and responses, which is why every homecare plan is carefully tailored specifically for you.
We take a low and slow approach, introducing products gradually so we can truly get to know your skin and understand how it responds. This allows us to support your barrier without overwhelming it, creating a routine that evolves as your skin becomes healthier, more balanced and more resilient.

THE BRANDS
To support this approach, I work with Dermaviduals and Prologic, two brands recognised for their commitment to the principles of corneotherapy. Both ranges focus on respecting the skin barrier and supporting healthy skin function through carefully selected, skin-identical ingredients rather than simply masking symptoms.
Your personalised homecare plan works alongside your professional treatments, supporting your skin every day as we repair, restore and rejuvenate your barrier. By giving your skin exactly what it needs, when it needs it, we create the foundation for long-term skin health.
The goal is not simply healthier-looking skin, but healthier-functioning skin. When your barrier is supported, your skin is better equipped to protect itself, regulate inflammation and maintain balance.
This is not about quick fixes or chasing trends. It is about understanding your skin, repairing the foundations and creating a routine that supports your skin for life.
Eloise is an expert at what she does! I had such a relaxing facial with buccal massage as I have a jaw issue, the experience was so relaxing and enjoyable.
